Hosted by the renowned MudHen Brewing Company, this wildwood golf tournament was more than just a game; it was a heartfelt gathering that celebrated community, camaraderie, and charity.
Set against the backdrop of the picturesque Big Little 9 Golf Course in Cape May Court House, the event offered participants a unique blend of competitive spirit and scenic beauty. We extend our deepest gratitude to Big Little 9 for their unwavering support and for providing the perfect venue for this memorable event. Their dedication and commitment played a pivotal role in making the tournament a grand success.
October 7th, 2023, marked a significant day in the wildwood golf calendar. Golf enthusiasts and fans converged at the Big Little 9 Golf Course, ready to showcase their skills, enjoy some top-notch brews, and support a heartfelt cause.
With two exhilarating rounds of golf spread throughout the day, participants were immersed in a competitive yet friendly atmosphere, offering them numerous chances to showcase their skills and vie for the prestigious title of the MudHen Cup winner. From seasoned golfers to enthusiastic amateurs, every participant brought their A-game to the course.Â
Each swing they took, every calculated putt, and every powerful drive resonated with the sheer passion, dedication, and spirit they held for the game.
The energy was palpable, and the excitement in the air was undeniable as players navigated the challenges of the course, aiming to etch their names in the history of the MudHen Cup.
Who can resist the allure of a well-curated goodie bag? The branded MudHen Brew Swag Bag, with its eye-catching design and thoughtful contents, quickly became the talk of the event. Participants eagerly delved into their bags, discovering a range of customized treats that reflected the essence of the MudHen brand. From the practical koozie, perfect for keeping drinks chilled, to the uniquely designed ball marker and golf tee, every item was chosen with the golfer in mind.
The inclusion of the special Wildwood golf course Big Little 9 Golf Ball added a touch of local pride to the mix. But the surprises didn’t end there. Tucked inside each swag bag was a voucher, a golden ticket of sorts, offering exclusive discounts at all three MudHen Hospitality Group Restaurants.
It was the perfect way to wrap up a day of golfing – with the promise of delicious food and drinks awaiting at some of Wildwood’s finest dining establishments.
MudHen Brewing Company has carved a niche for itself in the event space, hosting a myriad of memorable gatherings throughout the year. From the lively Harvest Fest and the artistic Paint and Sip nights to the exhilarating MudHen Cup golf tournament, each event is infused with the unique MudHen touch. Central to this experience is their array of signature brews, which have become synonymous with the MudHen brand.
At the MudHen Cup, participants were treated to this very essence of MudHen Brewing Company. As they wrapped up their rounds, they were greeted with the inviting sight of the beer trailer, from which flowed the refreshing MudHen Brews.Â
These craft beers, known for their distinct flavors and aromas, were the perfect accompaniment to the array of complimentary snacks on offer. The fresh pretzels, with their perfect blend of crunch and softness, the classic hot dogs, and the irresistibly mouthwatering cheesesteak rolls ensured that there was a delightful treat to satisfy every palate. It’s this combination of great beer and delicious food that makes every MudHen event a much-anticipated affair.
While the day was filled with golfing excitement, there was a deeper purpose that added meaning to every swing. The event proudly supported Breast Cancer awareness through Love of Linda.Â
This heartwarming collaboration between MudHen Brew and Big Little 9 ensured that while participants enjoyed their day on the course, they also contributed to a noble cause. The generosity of the attendees and organizers shone bright, with a total contribution of $725 to the charity.
Every tournament has its champions, and the MudHen Cup was no exception. The winners of each circuit were celebrated in style with Customized Collectible Stanley Steins, a token of their outstanding performance. But the ultimate glory was reserved for the team with the best overall score. They not only claimed the title of the first-annual MudHen Cup Wildwood golf tournament, but also walked away with fantastic prizes.
A $100 MudHen Gift Card, a Big Little 9 2024 Membership, and the shining MudHen Cup 2023 Wildwood golf tournament Trophy – rewards befitting the champions!
