Main Line Today Picks MudHen as a Jersey Shore Brewery to Visit

Main Line Today included MudHen Brewing Company in its summer guide to the best Jersey Shore breweries. The magazine told the story behind the name, a late-19th-century train nicknamed the MudHen that crossed an often washed-out bridge at high tide, and highlighted craft beer brewed with unique yeast strains, American whole flower hops and select malted barley.

The guide also pointed readers to the smokehouse on the grounds and the indoor and outdoor seating, where guests dine on seafood and smoked meats at 127 W. Rio Grande Ave., Wildwood.
