The Wildwood Beach Baseball Tournament, proudly sponsored by MudHen Brewing Company, celebrated its ninth year of bringing youth baseball teams and their families to the Jersey shore for an unforgettable experience. Set against the stunning backdrop of Wildwood’s iconic beach, this year’s event was action-packed for players and spectators alike. Here’s a look back at the highlights:
The 2024 Wildwood Beach Baseball Tournament took place over two thrilling weekends:
Located behind the iconic Wildwood Sign, the tournament attracted 60 teams across both weekends, welcoming roughly 1,000 players and their families. The action kicked off every Friday and Saturday, culminating in exhilarating championship games on Sundays.
A fan-favorite event, the Home Run Derby, took place on both Fridays (August 9 and August 16) at 6 PM. Each team selected one player to participate, with batters having five coach pitches to hit a home run. The derby added an extra layer of excitement, uniting teams and spectators in friendly competition.
