MudHen IPA 5K Returns to Wildwood with 700+ Runners

The 2026 MudHen IPA 5K returned to Wildwood on Saturday, April 25, welcoming more than 700 runners, walkers and spectators. The scenic course wound through Wildwood before finishing back at MudHen Brewing Company, 127 West Rio Grande Avenue, with proceeds benefiting the Lunch With Lynch Foundation.

Registration included a MudHen IPA 5K T-shirt, timed race results, a post-race lite breakfast, a complimentary beer token (21+) and medals for the top three finishers in each age group. The youngest runners took part in the Little Hen Mile, a one-mile kids race for ages 12 and under, at approximately 10:00 a.m.

The post-race celebration featured live music, food and craft beer. The lineup included DJ Brother Mike in the main parking lot (7:30–11:00 a.m.), Anger Management in the Biergarten (10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.) and LeCompt in the Station House (8:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.). Breakfast was served at The Station House from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and all 5K and Little Hen Mile runners received 10% off dine-in meals. The race was featured by both the Cape May County Herald and The Jersey Cape.
