The Branches Outreach provides social services and programs for vulnerable individuals in Cape May County. At the Branches Outreach Center, clients have access to hot meals, showers, and clean clothing. Our advocates provide support with employment, addiction, and housing issues, and help clients navigate social services and arrange appointments. As the number of people in need in the area continues to grow, our existence is more crucial than ever. Providing social services and programs for vulnerable individuals in Cape May County, The Branches Outreach Center offers hot meals, showers, clean clothing, and support with employment, addiction, and housing issues.
Cape May village helping one village in war-torn Ukraine. Three local businesswomen went to the Ukraine border to deliver supplies and met Zoran and Tatianna who run shelters in the town of Lutsk. Several local Mayors have issued Proclamations acknowledging that Lutsk is their adopted town in the time of war. They have used the money to get food, medical supplies, and wheelchairs, and even paid Russian soldiers to release hostages. Cape May is saving lives!
Their mission is to keep homeless families together during their time of crisis by offering safe shelter and meals in congregational facilities. They are dedicated to providing the support services needed to educate, encourage, and empower these families in their journey to re-establish their individual pride and independence.
Their mission is to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church, with the aim of seeing the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of those same coaches and athletes. They achieve this by partnering with local churches in Cape May and Atlantic Counties, connecting with Christian coaches and athletes in the public schools, and initiating ministries in every middle and high school in those counties.
Habitat for Humanity partners with people in their community to help build, preserve, and finance a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners actively participate in constructing their own homes alongside volunteers and commit to paying an affordable mortgage, creating a lifetime of positive change. Additionally, they advocate for policy and systems change to enhance home affordability, with a focus on increasing homeownership opportunities to alleviate the affordable housing crisis.
Since the inception of their organization in 1994, they have assisted more than 2500 Cape May County cancer patients and have distributed over 1.6 million dollars throughout Cape May County. Through the generosity of their supporters, they have been able to help those in need for almost 30 years.
