A Heartfelt Community Celebration at the Cape Charities Fundraiser in Wildwood, NJ

On October 17, 2024, MudHen Brewing Company in Wildwood, NJ, hosted the second annual Cape Charities Fundraiser, an event filled with generosity, celebration, and a true sense of community. This special occasion not only honored Dennis Hall, founder of Leader Printers, but also benefited 10 incredible local charities, whose tireless efforts improve lives throughout Cape May County and beyond.

MudHen Brewing Company: The Perfect Venue for Community Giving

MudHen Brewing Company, known for its warm atmosphere and delicious craft brews, provided the perfect venue for this memorable evening. The second annual Cape Charities Fundraiser featured an engaging, heartfelt celebration where attendees came together to support local causes.
As part of the evening’s efforts, MudHen Brewing Company generously donated 30% of all food and beverage sales from the event. This contribution was distributed evenly among the 10 featured charities, further emphasizing the event’s focus on community support and giving back.

Celebrating Dennis Hall’s Milestone Birthday

While the evening’s primary focus was the Cape Charities Fundraiser, it was also a special celebration of Dennis Hall’s 75th birthday. Dennis, a longstanding supporter of charitable causes in the Wildwood area, has been a key figure in bringing this annual event to life. His commitment to both his business and the local community made this event a success and a celebration of his continued dedication to making a positive impact.

Supporting Local Charities That Make a Difference

The Cape Charities Fundraiser spotlighted 10 local charities that provide critical services and resources to individuals in need. These organizations were able to continue their work thanks to the generous donations and contributions of everyone who attended.

Featured Charities:

  • No Limits Academy:Empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through education and vocational programs.
  • Child Evangelism Fellowship:Reaching children with the message of the Gospel and spiritual growth resources.
  • The ARC of Cape May County:Advocating for and supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • The Lunch With Lynch Foundation:Providing food assistance and outreach programs for individuals and families in need.
  • Love of Linda: Offering support and financial assistance to families affected by cancer.
  • The Branches Outreach:Supporting vulnerable individuals in Cape May County with meals, clothing, and advocacy.
  • Habitat for Humanity:Partnering with families to build and finance homes while addressing the affordable housing crisis.
  • Family Promise of Cape May County:Helping homeless families stay together during times of crisis by providing shelter and support.
  • Fellowship of Christian Athletes South Jersey:Inspiring coaches and athletes to lead through faith and foster Christian values in sports.
  • Cape May Shelters::Supporting humanitarian efforts in Ukraine by providing food, medical supplies, and shelter.
