On October 16, 2025, MudHen Brewing Company opened its doors and hearts to host “Help Us Move a House and Secure a Home Sweet Home,” a heartfelt community event supporting Cape Hope and its mission to provide safe, stable housing for families in need.

The festivities kicked off with a crowd favorite — the Dunk Tank, where guests lined up to take their shot at dunking Ollie the Clown on his 77th birthday! Laughter and cheers filled the air as everyone joined in on the lighthearted fun, all for a meaningful cause.
As the sun set, the stage came alive with the Jersey Devil Comedy Show, delivering laughs that echoed across the brewery. Guests enjoyed cold pints, hearty bites, and good company as they supported Cape Hope’s ongoing mission.
At 8 PM, local legend John Lynch took the mic for the live auction, energizing the crowd with exciting prizes — from getaway packages at The Hen Houses to local gift baskets and exclusive experiences. Bidding wars broke out in the best way possible, with every dollar raised going directly toward housing support for families in need.
Throughout the evening, guests indulged in MudHen’s signature brews and menu favorites, knowing that 30% of all food and drink sales were being donated to Cape Hope. To top it off, one lucky guest went home with a $100 MudHen Gift Card — a small bonus in a night full of big hearts.
