New Jersey’s 2024 World Beer Cup Winners
The Craft Brewers Conference and BrewExpo America held awards ceremonies for the World Beer Cup, the most prominent beer competition in the world, in Las Vegas April 24, and four New Jersey brewers came home with a big smile on their face.
Winning breweries included Bonesaw Brewing Co. in Glassboro, which won a gold medal for their American style brown ale, Lone Squirrel. And Kane Brewing Company, located in Ocean, took the gold for their wood and barrel-aged strong stout, Dripping Maple; and a bronze for their Belgian fruit beer, Field and Oak Golden Raspberry.
Also taking the gold were Ship Bottom Brewery in Beach Haven, for their golden or blonde ale, Mermaid Brown Ale; and MudHen Brewing Co. out of Wildwood, which won gold for their scotch ale, Wee Heavy Wilson.
A global competition that began in 1996, the World Beer Cup celebrates craft beer and increases consumer awareness of beer styles and flavor profiles. The competition recognizes brewing excellence in more than 100 categories.
