On Sunday, May 26th, 2024, the community gathered in North Wildwood to participate in the Run to Remember event, a poignant tribute to Patrick Corcoran and the Lost 74. From the 5K Run to the 1 Mile Fun Walk, participants came together to honor the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
Location: The event kicked off at 1st and Old New Jersey Avenue, North Wildwood, where runners and walkers alike gathered to pay their respects and show their support.
Registration: Participants were encouraged to secure their spot early by registering online before race day for $30. On-site registration was also available for $35 starting at 7:30 am, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to join in the commemorative event.
All proceeds from the Run to Remember event supported our Veterans of War, providing vital assistance to those who have served our country with honor and bravery. It was a meaningful way for participants to give back and express their gratitude for the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women.
As the 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk commenced, the streets of North Wildwood were filled with a sense of unity and remembrance. Participants of all ages and backgrounds came together, each step a testament to the enduring spirit of solidarity and gratitude.
