It’s time for a little spring cleaning

What sets MudHen Brewing Co. apart from your classic South Jersey brewery is our extensive food menu, earning us the “brewpub” title. For years our kitchen staff has brought you upscale good ol’ American bar favorites.

As we are heading into our 5th year of operation our head chef, Oscar, has been working alongside our Special Events Coordinator, Ply, to freshen up some of our classics and bring you some new favorites.

We heard you, believe us. Live from our special menus our Brisket Ginger Salad, Brisket Fajita, and Hot Honey Sliders have made the cut. Alongside those, our catering menu favorite, Cheesesteak Cornish is coming to the front lines.

New appetizers include Portobello Fries crusted in a parmesan panko breadcrumbs and Salmon Tartare, a fresh salmon, capers, dill, shallots, Dijon mustard & black pepper served with corn chips.

Polishing up our Sandwich section, we introduce to you a Roast Pork Sandwich with feta cheese, spinach roasted garlic & jalapeno on a long roll. As well as our Spicy Chicken Sandwich with lettuce, red onion, tomato & yellow American cheese on brioche.

Paying homage to a Wildwood legend, The Uncle George hits our burger section to honor George Sciarra, our owner’s late Uncle. The Uncle George is our MudHen twist on a classic smash burger with yellow American cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, bacon, and MudHen sauce on brioche.

Of course, we can’t forget about our Entrée section with the MudHen Kabab, MudHen Fried Chicken and New York Steak. For those who like a little bit of everything our MudHen Kabob filled with BBQ brisket, General Tso Shrimp & Chicken with grilled pineapple, shiitake mushrooms, red onions, red & green peppers. Our riff on a southern classic is our MudHen Fried Chicken. Buttermilk marinated, bone-in half chicken served with biscuit, mashed potato & gravy. Lastly, for the “sticks to your ribs” kind of people is our New York Steak. An 8 oz. angus prime ribeye steak topped with truffle cream sauce & crispy onions, served with sauteed broccolini & roasted bliss potatoes.
