Summertime is peak season for us at MudHen, as well as for all of our brewing neighbors, here in Cape May County. Traffic signals are in full service, parking meters are no longer free, and the line for gas at Wawa seems never ending. Time is rare, if not nonexistent, to be able to leave our five-mile island and enjoy the many fantastic, fermented liquids our southernmost county of New Jersey has to offer. Friends on Tap: The Cape May County Series will kick off this Friday, July 1st at the brewpub. Each week we will feature beer from a local brewery in our Garage Bar. The guest line will run for a week at a time, with a tapping every Friday at 5PM. We couldn’t think of a better way to “ignite that party” than with our firefighting friends from Bucket Brigade Brewery, kicking off with their Axe Head Amber Ale.
