On Friday, May 2nd, 2025, MudHen Brewing Company proudly hosted its annual Coast Guard Salute, a heartfelt celebration recognizing the incredible service and dedication of our local Coast Guard community. This year’s event marked the 10-year anniversary of the Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation — and we raised our pints in style!
The star of the night was Boat Czech, a crisp, herbal, and floral Czech-style Pilsner brewed with Zuper Saazer hops from Hop Heads in Hickory Corners, Michigan. Specially crafted for the occasion and named in partnership with the Foundation, Boat Czech was released in special edition cans featuring the Foundation’s 10-year anniversary logo.
Even better, 10% of all Boat Czech sales were donated back to the Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation, supporting the continued work and impact of this incredible organization.
Guests enjoyed a lively evening with The Exceptions performing from 7–11 PM, filling the night with upbeat tunes and party vibes. It was the perfect soundtrack for a night of community, gratitude, and celebration.
