MUDHEN OYSTER FEST

 We are thrilled to announce the MudHen 2nd Annual Oyster Festival, a delightful partnership with Cape May Salts, where you can savor the best of Cape May’s oysters the MudHen way! Join us for an exciting day of oyster-filled fun, all while supporting a great cause.

Oyster Experience 

Taste some of Cape May’s finest oysters from our specially curated oyster menu, paired perfectly with a MudHen pint. 

10% of all oyster purchases will be donated to the Cape May Whale Watch & Research Center’s New Jersey Non-Profit. 

Raw Bar and Shucking Contest 

Immerse yourself in the live oyster shucking experience at our raw bar, featuring a toppings bar for you to customize your oyster delights. 

Showcase your shucking skills in our Amateur Shucking Contest and stand a chance to win exciting prizes. 

Contest Details 

Contest Time: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM 

Registration: Begins at 1:00 PM in our Biergarten 

Location: Contest will take place in our Biergarten 

Contest Rounds: 3:00 PM, 3:15 PM, 3:30 PM, 3:45 PM, and the final round at 4:00 PM 

Prize for Contest Winner: A Whale, Bird & Dolphin Watch trip for 4 at the Cape May Whale Watch & Research Center

Ticket Price: $30 per person

Ticket Includes: 1 beer token, Entry to the shucking contest, Automatic entry into a raffle for an oyster farm tour for up to 5 people, Opportunity to win an Oyster farm tour courtesy of Cape May Salts, Donations and Support, 10% of oyster purchases will be donated to the Cape May Whale Watch & Research Center’s New Jersey Non-Profit, supporting their vital research and conservation efforts.
