IPA 5K & Beer Mile

The MudHen Brewing Co. 5K & Beer Mile Combining WORLD CLASS running (DelMoSports) and WORLD CLASS beer (MudHen Brewing Co.), you get the MudHen Brewing Co. 5K & Beer Mile. This event features a FLAT and FAST course, with outstanding views of the ocean!

We know you can run anywhere but where else can you get world class beer and a world class running race ‘down the Shore? 

The IPA 5K run course is a combination of closed roads, boardwalk, and bike path starting at 6:30pm.

The 3nd Annual Beer Mile Island Championships will take place on Friday Night, April 19th at 7:45pm. This event will start & finish at the brewery in the center of town: first with our IPA 5K, then immediately following with a limited field of Beer Mile specialists in a concert-like atmosphere. Winners of the Beer Mile will be memorialized forever at the brewery! We are extremely excited for this event and know those who love running for fun and escaping for a quick trip ‘down the Shore will appreciate the effort and memories.
