Learn About Crew Behind The Brew At Wildwood’s Destination Craft Brewery

MudHen Brewing Company

A Little About Tony...

Weizenbock. It wants to ferment hot but if you keep it cool and let it lager, it becomes deep in flavor. All of its unusual parts make it layered and fun…with a kick.

I made a tea with Elderflower to pitch into a Saison. The brewery smelled like Italian Meatballs, which freaked me out, but the beer luckily turned out to taste nothing like that.

In July of 2023 the island had a black out that lasted 15 hours at the brewery. We were 10 cases into a 100 case canning run and I was 5 minutes from flame out in the kettle. Literal nightmare.

The Beermuda Triangle thread on my phone consists of myself and two others in our county’s brewing community.

Fiber and coffee. Gotta start the new day off free from the day before.

I’m all Gemini. I have a twin sister. Enough said.

Tilly is our fluffy and very muppet like Goldendoodle.

Contemplative. Passionate. Present.

See answer to question #6, then family time.

Fun fact: I met my wife Emily while bartending. I made her the wrong drink but she fell in love with me anyways. We have a beautiful one year old daughter named Piper.

Cailyn Crain

sales associate

Born and raised in Atco, NJ, with summers spent in Avalon, I’ve always had a strong connection to the outdoors and coastal life. I graduated from Temple University with a degree in Advertising. After graduating, I spent nearly four years working in a local brewery’s tasting room and for their sales team, where I gained extensive experience in marketing and brand building within the craft beer industry. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and love spending time outside with my dogs & fiance, always seeking new adventures and inspiration in both my personal and professional life.

A Little About Cailyn...

I’m bold and confident, like the assertive hops in a West Coast IPA. My vibrant energy leaves a lasting impression, much like its citrusy aromas. I value honesty with the same clarity the style is known for, and my adventurous spirit thrives on challenges—just like the innovative brewing that defines it.

A Little About Peter...

Hot Sauce — add some hot sauce to your beer for a spicy addition.

Never store beer in the freezer LOL
The Polar Express — a nice winter porter because who doesn’t love Christmas and a beer by the fireplace?
My idea of a balanced diet is a beer in each hand.
Taylor Ham, egg and cheese on an everything bagel, and coffee with milk.
A fox that treks through my yard and geese that visit from the lake across the street.
Outdoorsy, athletic, spontaneous.
Drink coffee, eat a bagel, and head to the woods for a hike.

Max was born and raised in the Greater Philadelphia suburbs. He studied journalism and history at Ithaca College and Millersville University before becoming a full-time hospitality professional.
Max has worked as a baker, barista, bartender, and cook, and has been a beer lover since his 21st birthday — wink wink. His favorite styles are barrel-aged imperial stouts and Belgian-style ales. Max makes customer satisfaction his goal with every interaction and always strives to maintain a “just say yes” attitude.
Max is married to his wife, Andrea, and they live with their adorable senior pitbull, Luca, and the occasional foster cat — or four.

A Little About Peter...

Barrel-aged imperial stout: big, strong, and just gets better with age.

I have spilled more beer on myself than most customers will spill in a lifetime.

I’d make the beer-version of Willy Wonka’s Fizzy Lifting Drink.

What kind of beer do they serve at the circus?
I don’t know, but it’s INTENSE — in tents.
Egg-SPLODER Breakfast Sandwich.
Gemini — we crazy as HECK, y’all!
Human Tornado, obviously.
Coffee in bed with my wife, watching trashy TV.
