MudHen presents Wildwood Beach Baseball

Baseball on the Beach

The Wildwood Baseball on the Beach Tournament, presented by MudHen Events, is an annual youth baseball tournament held on the beach in Wildwood, New Jersey. The tournament is for youth baseball teams 9U-13U. The event spans over the first two weekends in August. In 2021, Tournament #1 is August 6th-8th and Tournament #2 is August 13th-15th. Home Run Derby is 5pm Friday nights of the tournaments.

The beach at the end of Rio Grande Ave. is transformed into the ultimate baseball weekend retreat. 4 fields are constructed on the sand, with a food and vendor area between. Hot food and cold beer are available for purchase. Parents and other supporters line the bleachers, though many prefer to bring a beach chair.

Each participant receives a goodie bag and discounts to area attractions, including Morey’s Piers, MudHen Brewing Company, Dogtooth Bar & Grill, and Poppi’s Brick Oven Pizza & Kitchen, making for a fun-filled vacation weekend for the whole family. Champions in each age group are crowned following Sunday’s games.
