DESCRIPTION:Rift formed in the summer of 2023 amongst four friends that love playing the vast Phish catalog. Matt Agostini (bass) and Matt Elberson (drums) have played in previous Phish tributes while Sean Coyne (guitar) and John Hildenbrand (keys) have always wanted to. We’re pumped to be a part of the incredible Philadelphia Phish community. We’ve built chemistry playing together in Control for Smilers, Uncle Jawn’s Band, The 9’s Funk Band, Keezus, and Four Lean Hounds. Together we have seen over 300 Phish shows, eaten our fair share of shakedown grilled cheeses, and can’t wait to share our renditions of Phish songs with you.\n
